Aftercare Instructions

Removing the second skin

:: leave the second skin on for no longer than 3 days. If the second skin comes off before then, do not try to stick it back on - remove as soon as you get home and wash the tattoo.
:: when removing the second skin, it is best to do it in the shower. Pull the second skin away from you when removing it.
:: if the second skin becomes itchy, or red around the edges, remove it as soon as possible.
:: gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap.
:: pat it dry with a clean paper towel or let it air dry - do not use a regular face towel.

Aftercare

:: wash 1–2 times a day with fragrance-free soap and water.
:: use a fragrance-free moisturizer after a few days, once it starts scabbing.
:: avoid scratching, picking, or peeling at any scabs or flaking skin.
:: wear loose, breathable clothing over the area.

Avoid

:: direct sun exposure (and no tanning).
:: swimming (pools, hot tubs, lakes, ocean).
:: saunas, baths, or long hot showers.
:: tight or abrasive clothing over the tattoo.

When healed

:: sunscreen (SPF 50+) to keep the colors fresh.
:: moisturize frequently
:: touch ups are free - so let me know how it heals and if it needs one
